How do I renew my domain name?
Unless you stipulate otherwise with your Registrar, your .CA domain name will be auto-renewed for one year upon its expiry date provided that your Registrar has sufficient funds in its deposit account to pay for the auto-renewal, and provided you pay for the auto-renewal. If you do not want your domain name to auto-renew, you should advise your Registrar.

How can I update my information regarding my .CA domain names?
Your Registrar is responsible for updating your registration information. If there are any changes to your information,please notify your Registrar at your earliest possible convenience to ensure that your contact information remains up to date.

How do I transfer my domain name to another Registrar?
To transfer your .CA domain name to another Registrar, you must choose a new Certified Registrar. Provide the new Registrar with your authorization code, and they will initiate the request with CIRA for you. Once validated and approved, CIRA will send you an email confirming the change of Registrar.

How do I transfer my domain name to another Registrant?
To transfer your .CA domain name to another Registrant, please contact your Registrar. They will initiate and manage the process on your behalf. CIRA will notify you when the transfer has been completed.
